Winding drums for the medical market
At LIKO-S Industry, we have been manufacturing winding drums for the medical market during the past month. Interestingly, they are made of aluminium, not steel. The drums are first fired, rounded and welded, then painted with a clear lacquer and leveled.They are used to wind up electrical cables used in the healthcare industry in the operation of diagnostic equipment - especially when using imaging methods. Imaging methods are examination procedures that allow doctors to view whole organs or parts of organs in the human body without the patient having to undergo actual surgery. Nowadays there are a large number of such methods, e.g. X-ray, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, etc.You can encounter "our" drums and cabling built into these devices in medical facilities all over the world.
